Morning Update on Andrea

So, let’s see what Andrea is doing this morning….drifting southward, staying offshore, winds at 40mph.

…ANDREA GRADUALLY WEAKENING AS IT DRIFTS SOUTHWARD JUST OFFSHORE OF THE NORTHEASTERN FLORIDA COAST…

THE STORM IS DRIFTING GENERALLY SOUTHWARD…AND THIS SLOW MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ON THIS TRACK…THE CENTER OF ANDREA IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN OFFSHORE FROM THE NORTHEASTERN FLORIDA COAST TODAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 40 MPH…65 KM/HR…WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. AN AIR FORCE RESERVE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING ANDREA.
